Needs that have been met.

We have electric, lighting, A/C to keep us cool while we work, phone, bathrooms. paper towels, toilet paper, refrigerators and freezers, Electric Stove, etc.

  • Paneling for the outside walls for the bathroom need to be hung-up and them painted. And insulation needs to be put inside
  • Flag Pole
  • Kitchen Cabinets
  • Kitchen sink, cabinets and countertop
  • Now that I have a better idea as to how long the repairs will take, we must make plans for the cold freezing winter weather now. In the next two months we MUST find the funds needed to make emergency repairs to the heating system so we will have heat and repair the bathroom addition so the plumbing will not freeze and bust. 09-29-06 done
  • Foundation design and cost 08-16-06 done
  • Well water test from Fairfax County Health Dept. scheduled for Tuesday 07-11-06 Jay Lanahan 703-246-8460. He stopped by on the 11th but would not do the test because the Well is not up to Code. The cover plate is missing from the electrical box and the Well, and we need to first use Clorox Bleach to sanitize the Well. I will do the bleach today 07-13-06. Bro. Bill will put a cover plate on. 08-24-06 Bro. Bill reports two water tests have been done, results are forthcoming. 08-31-06 added Well water test done on 07-21-06 by Stoner Enterprises Culligan Water show the water is safe to drink. 08-31-06 Health Dept called, the water is OK.
  • Sign to put on door over mail box, I will do this.
  • Vacuum cleaners
  • Vacuum and wipe down a LOT of dust UPSTAIRS and downstairs, removing the chimney caused a LOT of dust, anything that dust can settle on it did, EVERYTHING must be cleaned stop to bottom, The Lodge room upstairs is a mess!
  • We still need labor to clean, mop, sweep, will need to bring supply's to clean.
  • White Paint for plywood used to cover attic fan hole, paint brush.
  • Power Washer, is forthcoming from Bro. Jim McDaniel, Power Washer backroom floor, set for Sunday
  • Clean inside and outside of refrigerators, bottom of stove, one Ref left to do, others are done.
  • Mailbox door slot. someone will have Sunday
  • Even if you cannot do hard labor we really could use a hand just picking up stuff and walking it out side.
  • Clifton Fire Dept to stop by the weekend of the 8th to (see me for details)
  • Brick chimney and Attic Fan need to be removed, NEED HELP! tall ladders for roof access. need supply's to fix hole in roof and wall after they are removed. William Baumbach, Troy Payne and others will do this Saturday the 8th. we do need people to carry a lot of bricks.
  • Removing all walls in bathroom addition. will not be done, addition need to be torn down.
  • We need to get water-soaked floors removed NOW! we had to remove TWO levels of old flooring.
  • Moving Boxes to pack stuff in for storage in the trailer.
  • very heavy 4 draw fire proof filing cabinet needs to be trashed
  • remove paneling from all walls
  • drainage ditch
  • still need to pack and move small items to storage trailer
  • Storage Trailer
  • Drinks Water, soda, ice-cream, etc.
  • Trash dumpster, its full now, calling for pickup. should be removed 07-05-06
  • dehumidifiers

  • Pad Locks
  • Pickups and trailers, the dumpster we have is FULL.
  • Finish removing drop tile ceiling.
  • Acquired Home Service 1-877-932-7177 John Taylor. I made an appointment for Friday July 7th 11:00am to give est. on repairs, same company we used in December, Need to get approval for the $100.00 cost for this. CANCELED need foundation first.

The lower level of the Lodge is now gutted and striped down to the original surface back when it was a working Mill in the 1800's
